Musical Concert (Global Village/African Market)

As part of the Africa Youth Festival experience, the Musical Concert and Cultural Showcase will be an unforgettable celebration of talent, expression, and advocacy.

The concert will feature electrifying performances by delegates from across the continent, giving young creatives a platform to share their music, dance, poetry, and spoken word — all rooted in African identity and storytelling.

Adding to the excitement, top African artists will headline the event, using their voices not just to entertain, but also to inspire. Through powerful performances, they will lead a campaign against drug abuse and the negative influence of social media, sparking critical conversations around youth choices, identity, and well-being.

Alongside the music and performances, the festival grounds will host vibrant exhibitions where youth innovators, entrepreneurs, and artists can showcase their work — from tech projects and fashion to photography and crafts — celebrating the creativity and potential of Africa’s youth.

Africa Youth Games

The Africa Youth Games will unite young people across the continent through energetic sports competitions, cultural celebrations, and exhibitions of products. Participants will compete in popular sports like football, athletics, and basketball, demonstrating physical skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while indoor games offer more relaxed, inclusive fun. A standout feature is the Afro Jollof battle, a lively culinary contest where delegates represent their countries in a flavourful battle over Jollof rice, blending food, culture, and friendly rivalry. Additionally, exhibitions dubbed African Market will showcase art, innovation, and entrepreneurship, fostering cross-cultural exchange and enriching the overall experience.

Tour

Delegates will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Ghana’s rich heritage through guided tours that blend education, inspiration, and cultural connection. The Accra City Tour highlights iconic landmarks like Black Star Square and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, alongside vibrant markets and historical neighbourhoods, showcasing the city’s spirit. Meanwhile, the Out-of-Accra Tour explores Ghana’s diverse landscapes, from coastal forts and slave trade sites to traditional villages, providing deeper insight into the country’s historical and cultural significance. More than just sightseeing, these tours foster learning, reflection, and unity, aligning with the festival’s mission of identity and growth.

Pan-African Awards

The festival will conclude with Dinner & Awards Night, a grand celebration honouring outstanding leaders in Africa and highlighting the collective achievements of youth. This special evening of recognition, glamour and reflection will underscore the festival’s commitment to youth empowerment, excellence, and unity, bringing the Africa Youth Festival to a memorable and inspiring close.

10-Year Anniversary Celebration

IFED Global will mark a significant milestone — its 10-Year Anniversary Celebration — honouring a decade of youth empowerment, leadership development, and transformative impact across Africa.

A key highlight will be the presentation of the 10-Year Impact Report and Documentary, capturing the inspiring journey, achievements, and stories of lives changed over the past decade. This moment will offer a powerful reflection on IFED Global’s vision, partnerships, and the collective efforts that have shaped its legacy.

The celebration will also include tree planting and educational outreach activities, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and the commitment to nurturing future generations. These activities will allow delegates to give back to the community while reinforcing values of environmental responsibility and civic engagement.
